We are a family owned and operated business.
In today’s world, software drives small, medium and large companies. Without software, a company will not be very productive and cannot survive in the competitive world of business. Smartphones, tablets have apps that drive people and companies. Nowadays, smart TVs are changing the way we watch TV, and even Cars are extremely high tech with different apps and functionalities.
As our world keeps changing and depending more on technology, the need for people who can develop apps and software keep rising. However, the reality is that the number of programmers and coders we have are not nearly enough to handle the increasing demand. Programming is a set of skills that can be acquired through constant practicing, but most people don’t have the chance even to try it.
This is why Vottron is established to provide programming and robotics skills to children and young adults as a way of shaping their future and contributing to society at large.
What we believe
We are big believers that all children have a special gift and can grow to be anything they want to be, only if they are willing to work hard for it. At Vottron, we teach children and teenagers, the set of skills that they will need to shape our future. Here they will learn problem-solving, critical thinking, teamwork and of course loads of programming and coding. We believe that developing those skills at an early age will help them to cultivate the taste for programming and drive the world in the future. They might also decide that programming for kids is not the path they want to take but the skills they learned will make them more competitive and will keep them for the rest of their lives. That’s why every day in Vottron we will be coding your future.
Dennis has over 20 years of IT and programming experience. Started programming in high school, fell in love with it and has been doing it ever since. Ana Paula has over ten years of Human Resources background; have always been a people’s person and has a passion for finding every person’s strengths and skills so they can be used to make them succeed in their lives and careers.
We always dreamed of creating “something” that will be fulfilling for us as individuals as well for the people that would make this possible. Most importantly, we want to make a positive impact in our community.
Thirteen years later and now that we have two children, we have it very clear that the “something” we always dreamt of had to help develop, form, educate and entertain children while they play, have fun, boost their self-confidence and develop skills. That’s how Vottron was born: Programming for Kids and Teens.
